The influence of fractional powder composition on the metal structure surfaced by the plasma-powder method
摘要
The research results of the structure and fractional composition of adding powders influence on the structure of metal, surfaced by the plasma-powder method, are presented. It is shown that the temperature and structure of the welding bath during such welding depend significantly on the quantity and fractional composition of adding powders. Therefore, the structural heredity in the adding powder–surfacing metal system changes. The X‑ray study confirms the inheritance of the structure of adding powder of 200–250 μm faction by surfacing metal: the α‑ and γ‑phase ratio in the powder and surfacing metal practically remains. However, when using powder of 80–125 μm fraction under the same modes of surfacing, this correlation changes significantly, what is explained by a higher temperature of the welding bath metal when the initial structure of adding powder during crystallization of surfacing metal can be reconstructed.
