Application of a complete factorial experiment for optimization of the filling factor and charge density of self-shielding flux-cored powder wire
摘要
The necessity to study such characteristics of self-shielding flux-cored wire as the filling rate (CWF) and core charge density (ρcf) is grounded. The influence of the exothermic additive content, exothermic additive components ratio, and graphite content on the filling factor (CWF) and charge density was studied using Fractional Factorial Design, and the mathematical models are built. The content of exothermic additive (CEA) and graphite (Cgraphite) in the charge has the greatest influence on the filling rate. Maximum values CWF and density ρcf are obtained with the following characteristics: CEA = 20–28 wt%, MnO2/Al = 2–2.8 and Cgraphite = 4–6 wt%.
