摘要

This study investigated typical waste plastics, specifically high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP), to systematically evaluate the synergistic effects of co-pyrolysis on pyrolysis characteristics, kinetics, thermodynamics, and product distribution. The findings revealed that HDPE/PP co-pyrolysis produced a pronounced positive synergistic effect, leading to an evident reduction in the termination temperature. Kinetic analysis showed that the activation energy for co-pyrolysis was significantly lower than that of HDPE but higher than that of PP, while the pyrolysis function model remained unchanged. Thermodynamic evaluation confirmed that the pyrolysis of HDPE, PP, and HDPE/PP was an endothermic and non-spontaneous process, with reaction complexity following the order HDPE > HDPE/PP > PP. Product distribution analysis revealed that the actual oil yield from co-pyrolysis (83.0%) exceeded the theoretical yield (76.5%) by 8.5%.
