<p>Three metal complexes with indomethacin (Hind), a popular nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with the formulae: Co(ind)<sub>2</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>4</sub>·H<sub>2</sub>O (<b>1</b>), Ni(ind)<sub>2</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>4</sub>·H<sub>2</sub>O (<b>2</b>) and Cu<sub>2</sub>(ind)<sub>4</sub>·(EtOH)<sub>2</sub> (<b>3</b>), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and FTIR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of <b>2</b> and <b>3</b> was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The central atoms are coordinated by deprotonated indomethacin through carboxylate groups in two various modes. In <b>3,</b> the typical dinuclear Cu–Cu paddle-wheel structural motif is observed. The powder X-ray diffraction data indicate that <b>1</b> and <b>2</b> are isostructural<b>.</b> For all complexes, TG/DTG/DTA analysis augmented by MS system was performed. Furthermore, the antioxidant properties of <b>1</b>–<b>3</b> complexes compared with free ligand were revealed. Additionally, antimicrobial and antifungal activity was tested.</p>
