Influence of various alloys on the performance of 5-amino-1h-tetrazole-type gas-producing agents: pyrolytic, kinetic, and thermal safety properties
摘要
As to remedy the shortcomings of 5-amino-1 h-tetrazole (5-AT)-type gas-producing agent in terms of safety performance, three alloys (Al-Ni, Ni–Ti, and Fe-Co–Ni) are chosen as performance improvers in this paper to investigate their effects on the pyrolysis and thermal safety aspects of the 5-AT gas-producing agent. Based on the test results of thermogravimetric–differential scanning calorimeter and Fourier infrared spectrometer, Flynn–Wall–Ozawa, Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose, and Starink methods are selected to calculate the kinetic parameters of the gas-producing agent, and the reaction mechanism model is deduced by the Criado method, while the thermal safety is analyzed based on heat flow curves. The results show that after adding the alloy, the pyrolysis of 5-AT gas-producing agents generally moved to the high-temperature direction, the activation energy is enlarged, the number of pyrolysis steps is increased, and the reaction model is changed from a single control to the synergistic control of multiple models. Moreover, the thermal safety performance and thermal stability of the gas-producing agent are greatly improved. And the alloy Fe-Co–Ni provides the greatest improvement in the safety and utilization of 5-AT gas-producing agents among the three alloys. This study could provide references and suggestions for the application of alloys in the field of gas production agent performance improvement.
