摘要

As electronic devices get smaller, they face plenty of challenges. Overheating is one of these challenges. Overheating impacts users' comfort and can permanently damage these electronics. Consequently, new cooling techniques are essential for electronics. This research introduces the different cooling techniques used, such as air cooling, gas cooling, phase cooling, and liquid cooling. Following that, some proposed cooling techniques are discussed with reference to their electronic cooling components. Finally, the graphene passive cooling method and its application to electronics will be discussed. Graphene's extraordinary properties make it a material with a wide range of potential applications. Yet, determining how to use it remains unclear. An overview of some of these applications is presented in the current study. In addition, there will be a deeper discussion of graphene use in electronic applications. This will include challenges of bringing this technology to light, and potential future directions. According to the study, graphene can be applied in defrosting mainly as a coating material. Furthermore, it is used in some industrial applications in order to enhance their properties, such as their thermal properties and resistance to environmental conditions. In addition, graphene can be used as a coating or working fluid in electronic components, such as heat pipes, where the heat pipe should be covered entirely to achieve the maximum benefit from graphene technology. There has also been discussion regarding graphene's possible application in energy storage and conversion, with a focus on having a larger surface area in order to provide greater conductivity and capacity. Graphene is then discussed in terms of flexibility, where the study recommends handling it during its growth rate in order to maintain its optimal properties. Finally, the study discusses some of the major challenges associated with the use of graphene, such as scalability, compatibility, high-power consumption, lifespan, cost, and environmental impact, as well as some future directions and opportunities for using it.
