<p>Terbium-160 was produced by neutron activation of natural terbium, and its half-life was determined by 93 consecutive 24-h gamma-ray measurements. Of multiple candidates, the γ-ray-line at 1178&#xa0;keV was chosen as the most apt one for the task of half-life determination. The half-life of <sup>160</sup>Tb was found to be 71.97 ± 0.07&#xa0;days, which is in agreement with the existing literature, but is 0.46% lower than the currently established value of 72.3(2) days. The uncertainty budget indicates that this value is the most precise value of this half-life ever to be reported in scientific literature.</p>
