Elemental composition of Narcissus poeticus L. of Moldovan origin determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis
摘要
The species of genus Narccisus are widely used in pharmacology and perfumery The elemental composition of Narcissus poeticus L. cultivated in the Republic of Moldova was determined using neutron activation analysis. In total the mass fractions of 27 major, minor, and trace elements were determined in plant segments. Potassium, Ca and Mg were the major elements with mass fractions in the range of 14,600–44,000 mg kg−1, 3400–13300 mg kg−1 and 1580–3320 mg kg−1, respectively. Among the minor elements, the most abundant were Cl and Fe. Arsenic was determined only in plants’ bulbs, but its mass fraction did not exceed the values established by World Health Organization. The biological transfer factor values showed high translocation of determined elements in plant’s segments.
