<p>Solvent extraction was used to selectively extract I-132 from a solution of neutron irradiated uranium and its fission products. The isolated I-132 was then counted using gamma spectroscopy to determine the relative gamma branching ratios. The uncertainties in most of the I-132 relative branching ratios with intensities greater than 0.25% were reduced to less than 10%. An indirect measurement of the I-132 absolute branching ratio of the main 667.7 keV emission of I-132 using the activity of the Te-132 parent sorbed onto a Cu foil was found to be 0.984 ± 0.038. A comparison with the currently accepted emission data is presented.</p>
