<p>Silver-loaded zeolites are potential materials for capturing gaseous radioactive iodine released during nuclear accidents. In this study, three commercially available silver-loaded zeolites were evaluated for gaseous radioactive iodine (<sup>134</sup>I) adsorption using gas chromatography between 25 and 1000&#xa0;°C under inert, oxidizing, and reducing conditions. The setup was validated with <sup>220</sup>Rn as a tracer. All tested zeolites demonstrated complete iodine retention up to 1000&#xa0;°C under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. These results provide experimental insight into the thermal stability and iodine retention behavior of silver-loaded zeolites under simulated severe accident conditions.</p>
