<p>A highly selective and sensitive analytical method has been developed for the determination of uranium in the presence of high concentrations of rare earth elements (REEs) and other potential interferents using Light Emitting Diode (LED) fluorimeter. The method integrates a fluoride precipitation step to effectively reduce REE concentrations below their quenching thresholds, minimizing interference and enabling accurate uranium quantification. The method ensures reliable performance in diverse REE-rich matrices. A key advantage of the developed method is its versatility, allowing for the analysis of uranium in REE-rich chloride solutions, solid flakes and rock samples where uranium is in the trace or ultra trace level.</p>
