<p>This study investigates natural radionuclide concentrations in a medium-scale industrial coal-fired boiler with a wet scrubber emission control system. Samples of coal, bottom ash, fly ash, and wastewater sludge were collected and analyzed using a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector. The highest radionuclide concentrations were found in fly ash. Radiation parameters such as the absorbed gamma dose rate and hazard indices were calculated and compared to UNSCEAR limits, showing values mostly within permissible ranges. However, enrichment of radionuclides in ash highlights the need for better management of combustion by products to mitigate environmental risks.</p>
