METHOD OF FICTITIOUS DOMAINS FOR EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEM OF A KIRCHHOFF-LOVE PLATE WITH A FLAT RIGID INCLUSION

An equilibrium problem for a plate with a flat rigid inclusion is considered. The inclusion is assumed to reach the boundary at the zero angle and to be in partial contact with a rigid body. A crack is present along a fixed part of the inclusion’s boundary, with nonlinear boundary conditions imposed on the crack faces to prevent mutual penetration. The existence and uniqueness of a solution to the problem are proved, and both differential and variational formulations are presented. Bibliography: 5 titles. Illustrations: 2 figures.
