ON THE ASYMPTOTICS OF SOLUTIONS TO THE INVERSE PROBLEM FOR A PSEUDOPARABOLIC EQUATION WITH A SMALL PARAMETER AT THE HIGHEST DERIVATIVE

In this paper, we consider the inverse problem of determining the source for a one-dimensional pseudo-parabolic equation. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of the inverse problem in question is proved. It is shown that for a small parameter tending to zero, the solutions of the inverse problem for a pseudo-parabolic equation converge to the solution of the corresponding inverse problem for the heat equation.
