EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF A SOLUTION TO THE SYSTEM OF BOUNDARY LAYER OF A NONLINEAR VISCOUS FLUID WITH SLIP CONDITIONS ON A STREAMLINED SURFACE

We establish the existence and uniqueness of a classical solution to the stationary boundary layer problem for a fluid governed by the Ladyzhenskaya rheological law near a solid wall, with given conditions characterizing the surface tension forces and slip phenomenon near the wall. We obtain an analytic expression for the fluid drainage velocity along a vertical wall under the action of gravity and boundary conditions. Bibliography: 13 titles.
