FRACTURE CRITERIA FOR MATRIX AND FIBER IN UNIDIRECTIONAL POLYMERIC COMPOSITES
摘要
A form of failure criteria is not an arbitrary function. Its form is influenced by thermodynamic requirements and by the results of basic experiments. The proposed criteria take these requirements into account. Experimental verification of the criteria for 3D stress state, plane stress, and one-dimensional loads is carried out. Their better correspondence to empirical data is shown, and their advantages in comparison with known criteria are marked. These criteria contribute to calculations and predictions of reliability, stability, and strength of composite structural elements.
