<p>The Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ) is a widely recognized tool for assessing unconditional self-acceptance, available in various languages (e.g., Chamberlain &amp; Haaga, in (J Rat Emotive Cognit Behav Ther 19:163–176, 10.1023/A:1011189416600 (2001)); Popov &amp; Sokić in (Psihologija 55(1):107–122, 10.2298/psi200820005p (2022)). This study translated and validated the Urdu version of the USAQ, involving 300 university students aged 18–28&#xa0;years from public and private universities in Pakistan. Construct validity was established through confirmatory factor analysis, which supported the modified factor structure after the removal of poorly loading items, resulting in improved model fit. Reliability was demonstrated through consistent internal measures. Convergent validity was confirmed through meaningful correlations of the Urdu USAQ with measures of self-esteem and psychological distress, indicating its utility for research and clinical applications in diverse settings.</p>
