摘要

Nanomaterials have gained considerable interest owing to their unique chemical and physical properties at the nanoscale. Among the various types of nanomaterials, graphene and carbon nanotubes have been widely studied due to their outstanding mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties. The current review explores various synthesis methods, including arc discharge, chemical vapour deposition (CVD), laser ablation, and exfoliation techniques. Moreover, it highlights the significant applications of these materials in diverse areas such as energy storage, electronics, biomedical engineering, and environmental remediation. Overall, the current paper provides a comprehensive survey of the synthesis techniques, fundamental characteristics, and composite uses of carbon-based nanomaterials.
