摘要

The present work provides an environmentally benign method for the in situ-supported Au nanoparticles on the graphene oxide surface modified by chitosan polymers (GO@CSP/Au NPs). The synthesized GO@CSP/Au NPs’ physicochemical properties are further validated using a number of characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Examination using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) reveals the well-exploited morphology of GO@CSP/Au NPs. Additionally, GO@CSP/Au NPs, which have recently been produced, are employed as a nanocatalyst for the reduction of methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO). Using a UV-vis spectrophotometer, the efficiency of the reduction process is monitored. Recyclability in six further deterioration cycles is employed to evaluate this catalyst’s sustainability, and the results demonstrate a consistent and noteworthy rate of degradation. Additionally, the synthesized GO@CSP/Au NPs’ cytotoxic properties were assessed against A549 lung cancer cells following MTT method. The IC50 of GO@CSP/Au NPs was determined to be 35.2 µg/mL, and they demonstrated potential anti-lung cancer efficacy against A549 cells.
