摘要

In this work, poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA), ferrite(CoFe2O4), and silicon carbide(SiC) new nanostructures were fabricated to use in a variety of nano-electronic and optical devices. The structural and optical properties of (PMMA/CoFe2O4/SiC) nanostructures were examined. The optical properties of (PMMA/CoFe2O4/SiC) nanostructures were studied and the findings showed that when the CoFe2O4/SiC NPs concentrations reached (3 wt%), the absorption of PMMA rises 37.2% and the transmission decreased 28.3% at wavelength (λ) = 260 nm. This behavior makes it appropriate for a variety of optical techniques. When the CoFe2O4/SiC NPs content reached 3wt%, the energy gap (Eg) of PMMA dropped from 3.3 eV for pure PMMA to 2.3 eV. This finding suggests that the (PMMA/CoFe2O4/SiC) nanostructures may be useful for a range of electronic and optical fields. As the CoFe2O4/SiC NPs content increased, the optical properties of PMMA, such as optical conductivity and refractive index, and dielectric constants were improved. The results of application showed that the (PMMA/CoFe2O4/SiC) nanostructures included high gamma-ray attenuation coefficient values and can be considered as a new materials in radiation shielding applications The final findings demonstrated that PMMA/CoFe2O4/SiC nanostructures have superior optical properties for use in the domains of electronics and optics.
