摘要

In this study, red-emitting Y3Al5O12:Eu3+ phosphor was successfully synthesized using a solution-combustion method. The structural characterization through XRD confirmed the formation of a well-crystallized Y3Al5O12 structure. SEM images revealed the formation of an agglomerate structure, while FTIR spectra identified the chemical bonds present in the phosphor. EDS further confirmed the presence of the expected elements in the composition. PL spectra exhibited characteristic emission peaks at 592 nm, 615 nm, and 628 nm, corresponding to transitions from the 5D07F1, 5D07F2 and 5D07F3, respectively, with the maximum emission observed at 615 nm. The luminescence intensity was found to increase with increasing Eu3+ doping concentrations up to 0.8%, after which a concentration quenching effect occurred, leading to a decrease in emission intensity at higher doping levels (1.2%). These findings demonstrate the potential of Y3Al5O12:Eu3+ as an efficient red-emitting phosphor and underscore the importance of optimizing doping concentrations for enhanced luminescent performance.
