摘要

The conditions for nonevaporative heating of a liquid coolant during longitudinal flow past a bundle of heat-generating tubes are considered. Using newly introduced criteria — generalized heat exchanger characteristics — necessary and sufficient conditions for safe heating of the agent are formulated within the framework of the similarity theory. The effect of heat exchanger outlet pressure on the boiling point of the agent is demonstrated.
