摘要

The separative power of a direct-flow gas centrifuge obtained earlier by Bogovalov and Borman was revaluated at low rotor speeds. It exceeds the upper limit obtained by Dirac. The excess of the separative power is associated with the neglect of the axial diffusion of the light component along the gas centrifuge rotor. This is justified at high rotor speeds, but becomes incorrect at low speeds. After taking this circumstance into account, the dependence of the separative power at low speeds has changed. Now it depends on the speed as in the Dirac formula, and in magnitude turns out to be approximately 30% smaller. At high speeds, the solution, obtained earlier in the works of Bogovalov and Borman, remains correct.
