Experimental Investigations of the Stable Form of the Vortex Structure of a Swirling Flow
摘要
Experimental investigations on detection of the physical mechanisms and factors, responsible for the structurally similar forms of spiral-vortex motion of fluid media, have been performed. A confirmation of the theoretical dependence, defining the relation between the geometric sizes of three-dimensional spiral-vortex formations and the frequencies of vortex motion in them, has been obtained. By the example of an impact swirling flow, it is shown that a determinate large-scale vortex structure of a fluid medium is formed as a result of the crisis of the thermodynamic stability of the medium, corresponding to the phenomenon of crisis of a swirling flow.
