Tuning photoconductivity in PbTe:BaF2 thin films
摘要
This work investigates the photoconductivity effect in PbTe films doped with barium fluoride (BaF2) and provides a detailed picture of how the doping changes the electrical and structural properties of the samples. A significant change in the photoconductivity amplitudes is observed as the BaF2 content increases beyond the critical concentration. The samples presented a transition from negative to positive photoconductivity at low temperatures as the BaF2 doping increased. These results suggest that these compounds could be used in optoelectronic devices, where doping can tune the photoconductivity.
