The role of 4D ICE imaging for concomitant PFA and LAAC: a procedural workflow
摘要
This procedural workflow provides guidance on navigation and integration of 4D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) imaging for a concomitant procedure including pulsed field ablation (PFA) and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC). The proposed workflow encompasses venous access, performing transseptal puncture, optimizing catheter positioning, lesion assessment and device deployment, using real-time 4D ICE image guidance. Key workflow steps include sufficient pulmonary vein isolation with PFA and proper LAAC device sizing and implantation. This combined approach aims to enhance procedural efficacy, reduce complications, and improve long-term outcomes for patients undergoing left atrial interventions.
