Method of Determining the Altitude and Speed of Flight of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle by the Brightness Signature of the Underlying Surface

A method for determining the altitude and speed of flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the brightness signature of the underlying surface (US) based on an analysis of the time parameters of the dynamics of changes in the intensity of the detected optical flow of the US during the flight of the UAV is proposed.
