<p>Dietary supplement effects are analyzed comprising <i>Ulva lactuca</i> single cell detritus (SCD) and lipid microspheres on gonadal maturation, fertility and larval development in <i>Crassostrea gigas</i> during an 8-week conditioning period. Five dietary regimes were tested: 25% SCD + 75% microalgae (D25); 25% lipid microspheres + 75% microalgae (M25); 12.5% SCD + 12.5% lipid microspheres + 75% microalgae (DM25); 100% microalgae + 5% SCD + 5% lipid microspheres (CDM10); and 100% microalgae as a control (CTRL). The microalgal mixture comprised <i>Chaetoceros calcitrans</i> and <i>Isochrysis galbana</i> (1:1). Significant effects on gonadal development and coverage area (GCA) were observed from week 4, with males reaching maturity in D25, M25, and DM25 treatments, and females showing advanced maturation in DM25. Fertility assessments and larval D-veliger stage (24&#xa0;h) development revealed that DM25 and CDM10 produced significantly higher larval yields than control. Biochemical gonadal analyses showed increased lipid and protein levels at weeks 4 and 6, particularly in M25 treatment, while carbohydrates and glycogen declined in all groups. These findings suggest that SCD and lipid microspheres may enhance <i>C. gigas</i> gonadal development and reproductive output<i>.</i></p>
