Purpose <p>Eyelid tumors, as an important group of ocular tumors, have received significant attention due to their effects on visual function, physical appearance, aesthetics, and overall quality of life. This study aimed to use scientometric methods to evaluate research trends in the field of eyelid tumors.</p> Methods <p>In this scientometric study, the Scopus database was searched to identify relevant publications. Co-word analysis was performed using VOSviewer software to create a scientific map and identify key areas for future research.</p> Results <p>The analysis showed that from 1856 to January 2025, a total of 17,179 scientific publications with 209,120 citations were published in this field. The research was classified into four main clusters: ophthalmic symptoms and medical treatments, malignant pathologies and non-surgical methods, diagnostic methods and benign tumors, and basal cell carcinoma and surgical methods. The strong relationship between these clusters indicates the importance of interdisciplinary research. Emerging trends in this field include immunotherapy, new clinical symptoms, and advanced diagnostic techniques such as slit-lamp microscopy.</p> Conclusions <p>This study outlines current research trends in eyelid tumors, demonstrating a focus on advanced diagnostic techniques, innovative treatment approaches, and management of malignant pathologies. The use of modern technologies like immunotherapy and the development of international collaborations show promise for improving treatment outcomes in the future.</p>

Purpose

Methods
