<p>This study examined the relationship between parental attitudes and career anxiety using a serial mediation model of career exploration self-efficacy, active coping with career indecision, and positive future expectations. The participants were 870 high school students. The data were analysed using the bootstrapping-based PROCESS macro program (Model-80). The findings showed that parental support negatively predicted career anxiety, while interference and lack of engagement positively predicted career anxiety. Moreover, career exploration self-efficacy, active coping with career indecision, and positive future expectations mediated the relationship between parental attitudes and career anxiety.</p>
