<p>The article considers the feasibility of increasing the heterogeneity of an underwater landscape attractive for hydrobionts’ sedentary habitation through equipping it with reef modules. The following common reef modular parts are proposed: the supporting bowl and the L-shaped beam. Various constructions of landmarks-substrates, shelters, and hunting ambushes can be assembled from them, thus promoting habitable lotic development of the bottom relief into the water column. Moreover, using different height modifications of reef modules and retrofitting them with both imitators and annually regenerating natural aquatic vegetation enables placing such modules not only in deep-water reservoir areas, but also in shallow waters drained for the winter.</p>
