<p>Although the technical methods for cassava peel valorization are well documented, the behavioral dimensions of farmers remain underexplored in the literature. This study investigates the levels of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) among cassava farmers regarding cassava peel valorization. Primary data were collected from a random sample of 576 farming households across nine municipalities. Data analysis was conducted using the Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) to identify socio-economic factors influencing KAP scores. On a maximum scale of 100, the results indicate relatively low knowledge levels (mean score of 36.73), relatively positive attitudes (65.45), and limited implementation of valorization practices (20.89). Experience in cassava production positively and significantly influences knowledge (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05) and attitudes (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.01) towards cassava peel valorization. The wealth index significantly improves (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.01) both knowledge and practices, while cooperative membership promotes the practices (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.10). Finally, formal education has a negative effect on attitudes (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.01) but a positive effect on practices (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05). These findings highlight the need to raise awareness and provide farmers with training on the potential benefits of cassava peel valorization. Appropriate public policies and economic incentives could encourage the adoption of sustainable practices, thus contributing to the more efficient management of cassava by-products.</p>
