<p>Salinity intrusion is an escalating environmental challenge in coastal Bangladesh, particularly impacting the health and livelihoods of residents in Gabura Union, Satkhira District. We aimed to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of women in Gabura regarding salinity intrusion and its health effects. A cross-sectional survey conducted between September and October 2024 included 443 women. We employed descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis using the R programming language to analyze the data. The findings revealed that 55.31% of women experienced skin problems due to salinity, with skin dullness being the most common (69.17%). Furthermore, 59.35% lacked awareness of the health risks associated with salinity, and 58.72% were unaware of methods to purify saline water. Multiple regression models identified education level, salinity-related sociocultural impacts, and participation in community health programs as significant predictors of knowledge and practices (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05). These results underscore the importance of targeted, gender-sensitive educational campaigns and water safety programs to mitigate salinity-related health risks and bolster resilience in coastal communities.</p>
