Investigating the role of agricultural informationalization in rural economic development

Agricultural informationalization involves combination of digital technologies and communication networks into agricultural activities. It facilitates improved resource management, market access, and productivity in rural economies. By analyzing digital tools, information systems, data-driven practices support economic growth, employment, and agricultural activity efficiency; it investigates effects of agricultural informationalization on rural economic development. Survey conducted among 947 rural farmers, agricultural professionals, and policymakers from various regions. Additionally, relevant economic and agricultural data collected from government and industry reports to assess extent of informationalization and influence on rural economies. Quantitative analytical framework used to evaluate relationship between agricultural informationalization and economic development. Key variables included digital adoption (DA), agricultural productivity (AP), rural employment development (RED), economic growth (EG), rural famers (RF), market access (MA) and Socio-economic factor (SEF). Statistical and econometric techniques were employed to ensure accuracy in interpretation. Regression analysis and correlation tests conducted to measure influence of agricultural informationalization on key economic indicators. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is applied to measure direct and indirect effects on rural economic performance. Findings indicate a positive relationship between agricultural informationalization and rural economic growth. Higher adoption of digital tools led to increased productivity, improved income levels, and greater market access. The impact varied by region, areas having better digital infrastructure experiencing more significant benefits. Agricultural informationalization plays a crucial role in rural economic growth by enhancing efficiency, improving access to markets, and increasing profitability. Strengthening digital infrastructure and promoting technological adoption in agriculture can further drive economic progress in rural communities.
