<p>The aim of this research is to analyze extreme poverty conditions based on World Bank indicators and to formulate appropriate strategies to address extreme poverty in Karyamukti Village, Panyingkiran District, Majalengka Regency, Indonesia. Data collection methods were carried out through in-depth interviews and field observations, complemented by secondary data. The method used to test data accuracy was triangulation. Data processing and analysis methods included data reduction, data presentation, drawing preliminary conclusions, verification, and conclusion formulation. The results of the study indicate that Karyamukti Village has 1,348 residents experiencing extreme poverty. The extreme poverty rate in Karyamukti Village is relatively high, with a percentage of 24.66% of the total population of 5,467 people. This condition is manifested through significant deficits in basic needs, including a high number of uninhabitable houses, limited access to clean water, and poor sanitation. Furthermore, the study identifies critical challenges in human development, such as children dropping out of school for economic reasons, health risks including stunting, and the mistargeting of social protection programs. Based on these research findings, several appropriate strategies can be formulated to address extreme poverty, which involves increasing agricultural productivity, developing local economic diversification, expanding access to education, optimizing social protection, and strengthening community capacity.</p>
