<p>This study analyzed the impacts of terrorists and counter military operations on the soil parameters of Sambisa forest of Nigeria. Experimental research design was duly employed in this study. Primary and secondary type and sources of data were used. The primary data type was purely soil samples of Sambisa forest. Soil auger was used to collect samples for laboratory testing. Purposive sampling was employed in the course of this study. At each sampling point, soil samples were collected from two depths, representing surface (0–15&#xa0;cm) and subsoil (16–30&#xa0;cm). For the topsoil, the result of t(22) = 3.197, <i>p</i> = 0.004 shows that there is significant difference between the topsoil of the disturbed areas and that of the topsoil of the undisturbed areas as the value of <i>p</i> &lt; 0.05. More so, the test result revealed that differences exist between the subsoil of the disturbed areas and the subsoil of the undisturbed areas as t(22) = 2.673, <i>p</i> = 0.014. This results reveal that the physicochemical and heavy metal parameters of the disturbed areas are very different from that of the undisturbed areas (see research objective two). The implication of this result is that Boko Haram activities and military operations have seriously impacted on the soil of Sambisa forest positively and negatively. From the findings, it was recommended that: The military should stop Boko Haram activities and force them out of the forest and the area will regenerate and the soil remediated.</p>
