<p>Climate change poses a greater risk for developing countries worldwide. South Asia is suffering from the effects of climate change. The world's most disaster-prone region is this one. Every year, South Asia experiences climatic extremes: rising sea levels, shrinking glaciers, declining trends in annual mean rainfall, and variations in precipitation are all signs of these changes. Climate change poses a significant danger to the livelihoods of low-income residents in affected areas. One of the countries where climate change had a significant impact in 2012 was Pakistan. Pakistan is situated geographically in an area where the effects of climate change are being felt rather seriously. Climate change is posing major challenges to Pakistan through frequent natural catastrophes like floods and droughts that effect its financial, physical, social, ecological, and human resources. For instance, during the 2010 floods, an estimated 1.88 million houses were damaged, more than 20 million people were affected, 1767 people lost their lives or went missing, and 2865 people were injured. The study analyzes the effectiveness of Pakistan's legal and policy frameworks, identifies barriers to implementation, and proposes solutions to improve resilience and sustainability. The study aims to assist planners, policymakers, researchers, professionals, and administrative organizations to solve the climate change problem more effectively.</p>
