Development of Carbon Sorbents Modified with Nanoparticles and Studies of Their Properties
摘要
Results from the development and studies of carbon sorption-active fibrous materials modified with two types of nanoparticles, i.e., water-soluble fullerenes and fullerene-containing soot, are reported. The main sorption characteristics of test sorbates from aqueous solution were investigated. The surface morphology was studied using scanning electron microscopy. The porous structure was evaluated by N2 cryosorption (calculation using BET theory). The two types of modifiers were compared. The optimal degree of modification for which the maximum sorption activity of the developed materials was observed was found.
