Modeling of Complex Filaments Properties of High-Performance Fibers Under Tension Using the Trength Distribution of Monofibers
摘要
A series of deformation diagrams of carbon, glass, and aramid fiber bundles (complex filaments) were predicted using the real strength distribution and the three-parameter distribution. The strength values were compared with the results of direct modeling using the experimental distribution and experimental data of filament manufacturers. The general appearance of the deformation diagrams of the filaments was in agreement with the experiment. In general, the modeling is shown to be feasible for fibers of different chemical nature.
