Development of New Functional Packages of Textile Materials with IR-Reflecting Properties for Ensuring Personal Safety in the Digital Epoch
摘要
The work focused on development of a method for designing a new innovative line of materials providing invisibility in the infrared (IR) range. An experiment with various combinations of materials in a package was conducted. The most successful sample was identified. The structure of a designed item was developed based on it. The results of the work showed that the designed item reflected thermal fluxes in the backing space. Recommendations were given for enhancing this effect. Textile materials with reflectance of IR radiation (TMIR), materials with foil coatings (MFC), and materials with deposited graphene oxide coatings (MGC) were used in the research. The developed package of materials was highly effective because of the combination of reflecting, thermal insulating, and cumulative properties that could improve the heat-protection parameters and invisibility in the IR range. A test sample of a vest with IR remission that passed tests under operating conditions by confirming the effectiveness for reflection of thermal fluxes and improved heat-insulating characteristics was developed. However, denser materials had to be used and deficiencies in the used accessories had to be eliminated to achieve complete invisibility in the IR range. The results opened prospects for using these materials in clothing to assure personal physical and digital safety.
