<p>The article presents the results of research aimed at developing parthenocarpic cucumber lines using classical breeding and biotechnological methods. The study employed conventional breeding techniques alongside a technology for obtaining doubled haploids through in vitro culture of unpollinated ovules. The source material was evaluated, and key elements of the doubled haploid (DH) technology were optimized. As a result, cucumber lines with a complex of economically valuable traits were developed, including early maturity, a female flowering type, a high level of parthenocarpy, and resistance to true and false powdery mildew. Furthermore, promising hybrid combinations were obtained based on the newly developed lines. Notably, original gynoecious cucumber lines, representing valuable breeding material for hybrid development, were created. Based on the conducted research, the hybrid Dendi F<sub>1</sub> was developed, exhibiting a combination of economically significant traits such as disease resistance, stable parthenocarpy, and high yield. Following successful testing by the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Gossortkomissiya” and expert evaluation, Dendi F<sub>1</sub> is set to be included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements permitted for use in the Russian Federation starting in 2025.</p>
