摘要

Many organizations now offer remote work options as the trend continues to gain momentum. This trend highlights the importance of examining the factors that enable remote employees to manage their productivity effectively. Drawing on social exchange theory, this research examines how organizational support influences the productivity of remote employees and their broader organizational outcomes. Using in-depth, open-ended interviews grounded in phenomenological research, this study investigated the perspectives of fifteen employees on remote work. Study findings include two superordinate themes: (a) employee responses to positive organizational action, (b) other advantages of the dyadic relationship. According to the findings, the dyadic relationship is strengthened when employees have positive opinions about the organization’s actions regarding the remote work setup. Researchers will find suggestions for subsequent investigations at the conclusion.
