摘要

The Jing-Jin-Ji (JJJ) coordinated development strategy had been continuously promoted, emphasizing the importance of balancing economy, society and ecological environment (ESEE). This study examined ESEE coordination in JJJ from 2001 to 2021 using the combined weighting method, coupling coordination degree model, and dynamic spatial durbin model. The levels of ESEE coordination had improved, gradually forming a high-level pattern with Beijing as the axis and Tianjin-Tangshan as the wings. The empirical analysis indicated that fixed asset investment and technological innovation had positive impacts on local ESEE coordination, while unemployment rate had negative impacts on it. Technological innovation and urbanization generated positive spillover effects on ESEE coordination of surrounding areas. Population size produced negative impacts on ESEE coordination of both local and surrounding areas. This paper provided scientific guidance for formulating policies to promote ESEE coordination in JJJ.
