摘要

E-commerce in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused this sector to experience more significant growth. E-commerce facilitates trade between producers and consumers, saving time and reducing operational costs. In Indonesia, the contribution of e-commerce to economic growth is relatively small compared to other sectors. Even though its contribution is relatively small to economic growth, the growth of e-commerce transactions continues to increase significantly every year. This research uses a simultaneous panel model. The research results show that the value of e-commerce transactions, the ICT development index, the workforce, public consumption, and the amount of investment directly and simultaneously impact Indonesia’s economic growth. The findings indicate that the number of e-commerce actors, the number of base transceiver station towers, and communication costs have an indirect impact on Indonesia’s economic growth. .
