<p>This study analyzes a corpus of 140,976 environmental information requests submitted through the National Transparency Platform to various government agencies. An integrated natural language processing approach was employed, combining topic modeling and named entity recognition to identify and classify the main themes addressed in these requests. The analysis revealed 115 key topics, highlighting major environmental concerns such as waste management, water quality, and the conservation of natural resources. In parallel, named entity recognition enabled the detection of sensitive personal data, emphasizing the critical need to safeguard privacy within the framework of governmental transparency. The findings provide valuable insights for the design of public policies and the improvement of institutional responses. By revealing patterns of citizen concern and institutional practices, this study contributes to the strengthening of environmental governance and underscores the importance of access rights and data protection in the digital era.</p>
