Digital dialogue feedback refers to a digitally supported, interactive feedback process between teachers and children that fosters learning and improves instructional quality. To comprehensively investigate both the direct effects and the underlying mechanisms, the study was divided into two related parts. Study 1 examined the differences in preschoolers’ learning behavior and the quality of teacher-child interaction between two groups: one receiving digital support through dialogue feedback, and the other following traditional teaching methods. Study 2 further explored the mediating role of preschoolers’ learning behavior and the moderating effect of digital support within this framework. Results from Study 1 established that the digital support group demonstrated significantly superior learning behavior and enhanced quality of teacher-child interaction in comparison to the traditional teaching control group. Study 2 further elucidated that that preschoolers’ learning behavior mediated the relationship between dialogue feedback and interaction quality, and that digital support critically moderated the effectiveness of dialogue feedback. The findings of this study indicate that a thoughtful integration of digital support, paired with appropriate dialogue feedback, has significant potential to improve preschoolers’ learning behavior and enhance the quality of teacher-child interaction. This study provides valuable insights and serves as a basis for the refinement of teaching practices.

摘要
