<p>A new pyrrolidine, named as cinnatenfoline (<b>1</b>), and seven known compounds (<b>2–8</b>) were isolated from the MeOH extract of the stems of <i>Cinnamomum tenuifolium</i> (Lauraceae). The structure of cinnatenfoline was characterized by spectroscopic means as 1-(5′-oxopyrrolidine-2′-carbonyl)pyrrolidine-2,3-dione.</p>
