Malonates of Phenylethanoid Glycosides from the Genus Leonurus
摘要
Phenylethanoid glycosides 1 and 2 containing a malonic acid moiety on glucopyranose C-2′ were isolated from the herb of Leonurus deminutus V. I. Krecz. (Lamiaceae). The compounds were 1′-O-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-2′-O-malonyl-3′-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-4′-O-caffeyl β-D-glucopyranoside (deminutoside A, 1) and 1′-O-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-2′-O-malonyl-3′-O-(2′′-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-4′-O-caffeyl β-D-glucopyranoside (deminutoside B, 2) according to UV and NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data. Both compounds have been detected in 11 other Leonurus species in the subgenera Cardiaca and Cardiochilum. Studies of the biological activity showed that 1 and 2 possessed antiradical activity.
