Lipids and Anthraquinones from Seeds of Senna angustifolia and Their Biological Activity
摘要
Lipids, lipophilic substances (LS), and anthraquinones from seeds of Senna angustifolia Vahl (Fabaceae) were studied for the first time. The content of neutral lipids (NL) in the seeds was 5.66%; polar lipids (PL), 1.37%; LS, 6.17%. PL were dominated by PhL, mainly phosphatidylcholines, and the anthraquinones rhein and neorhein. The main components of GL were steryl glycosides and the anthraquinones emodin, rhein, and neorhein. Fatty acids (FAs) of three lipid groups were dominated by palmitic, oleic, and linoleic acid. PL exhibited pronounced growth-stimulatory and stress-protective activity at doses of 0.001% and 0.0001%, effectively stimulating the development of wheat and cucumber sprouts under normal and saline conditions.
