<p>A new pyridine alkaloid, 3-(4′,6′-dimethylpyridin-2′-yl)propan-1-ol (<b>1</b>), along with five known lignans, (+)-syringaresinol (<b>2</b>), (+)-medioresinol (<b>3</b>), (+)-pinoresinol (<b>4</b>), (+)-lariciresinol (<b>5</b>), and (+)-5,5′-dimethoxylariciresinol (<b>6</b>), were isolated from the roots of <i>Artabotrys uncinatus</i> (Annonaceae). The structure was characterized and identified by spectral analysis.</p>
